The 14th edition of the Jeff Goodrich Parents’ Soccer Classic is an all-day charity event taking place at Mira Costa High School’s West Field on Saturday, October 9th, 2021. All parents with children attending Manhattan Beach or Hermosa Beach Schools are invited to play for their child’s school parent team.
The tournament is named after its founder, Jeff Goodrich, a former Manhattan Beach police officer and an upstanding member of the community who sadly passed away several years ago. Over the years it has become the largest parent charity tournament in Manhattan and Hermosa Beach with the majority of the proceeds going to the MBX Foundation, earmarked for the school district’s athletic programs and a portion designated to a charity chosen by the Goodrich family.
Family and friends are welcome to come out and support – there will be prizes, food and drink, a raffle, sponsor promotions and of course…exciting soccer. A post tournament awards gathering will be held from 6 – 8pm at Grunions Sports Bar and Grill in Manhattan Beach. For more information including parent/player sign up and contact information for each team’s captain, please check out the tournament’s website: http://www.mbxfoundation.org/GoodrichSoccer/index.php

We hope to see you out on the pitch on October 9th!
