PK yearbooks are still available for sale for $40 plus tax and shipping fees. All yearbooks must be purchased through the TreeRing website. Yearbooks purchased by Monday, 6/5, will be shipped to the school but are not guaranteed to arrive in time for in-class distribution on Monday, 6/12. Any copies ordered after Saturday, 6/10, will be shipped directly to your home.

It is a Pennekamp tradition of giving families the opportunity to thank other hard working non-classroom teachers and staff who assist our children throughout the year.

Please join us in celebrating the PK Math Olympiad Team's performance at the 6th Annual MBUSD Elementary Math Competition. There were 82 mathletes on 17 teams (15 mathletes on 3 teams from PK) from all five elementary schools. The mathletes competed for almost 2 hours with individual, team, and relay competitions.

This year we had 4 individual medal winners and 2 team medal winners:
* Individual, gold medal: Alicia Zhong (5th)
* Individual, bronze medal: Talar Adishian (4th), Lily Francisco (4th), Michael Shi (4th)
* Team, silver medal: Talar Adishian (4th), Charlotte Fan (4th), Lily Francisco (4th), Michael Shi (4th), Alicia Zhong (5th)
* Team, bronze medal: Sai Chhabra (4th), Asher Feldman (4th), Ishani Jakharia (5th), Samantha Lee (4th), Danny Unatin (4th)

MBEF’s grants to MBUSD directly impact the academic performance of our schools, our classrooms, and our students. But with only 50% of Pennekamp families donating to the 2022-23 Annual Appeal, it will be hard to fund MBEF programs and educators for the next school year.
