Read-a-thon starts Monday, September 23

 

 

Pennekamp Read-a-Thon: September 23-October 8th
Students will receive reading logs from their teachers the week of September 16. Be advised the read-a-thon will operate differently than last year. Fill in an entry for every reading session from MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 to TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8. Multiple entries in a single day are welcome. Each entry should be authorized with parent initials. Additional reading logs are available at the library and for download on the Pennekamp website after the launch.

 

Unlike last year, minutes will be tallied for you at the end of read-a-thon, not throughout. Turn in reading logs to the library on MONDAY, OCTOBER 7 or TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8 either before school, after school with an adult (until 3:00pm), or during scheduled library recess time. TK-2 can turn into your teacher. Don’t forget to circle your preferences for raffle prizes on your reading logs. Your raffle tickets will be placed for you in the raffle boxes of your choosing and drawn at the Wednesday morning meeting on WEDNESDAY, OCT. 9th.
